The Kalamazoo Suzuki cello program is considered to be one of the top Suzuki cello programs in the country, and is taught by renowned SAA Teacher Trainer Grace Field. The program consists of a private and group lesson weekly. Highlights of the well known program are the opportunities to play at New Year's Fest, the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra pre-concert program, the KIA and many other local venues. In addition, a master cellist is invited each year to work with the students in a master class setting. Cellos are available to rent from Grace for a reasonable yearly fee.
